Tasks Completed:

  • Created Pixel Sprite Sheet and Animation for Mace Attack (6 Hours)

  • Updated Idle Sprite (.5 Hours)

Total of the number of hours of work completed this week: Approximately 6.5 Hours

Work Examples:

Positive Notes: What went right for you and your team this week? This personal introspection should be honest and constructive.

This week I created the attack sprite and animation for Mace. It was my first time trying to showcase animation with an attack in sprite form, but I am happy with the result I came up with. I want to be able to do this faster and more efficiently so I can help my team out the best.

Negative Notes: What went wrong for you and your team this week? This personal introspection should be honest and constructive.

This week was pretty stressful for us as we were missing a team member, which made us panic a bit and try to get things prepared for our playtest. On my side, I wanted to work on sprites earlier but due to the stress of the week, it wasn’t as easy as I wanted it to be.

Upcoming Notes: What are you working on next?

Knocking out the rest of Mace’s sprite animations is the priority for this upcoming week, and hopefully we can try to account for not having another programmer at the time and flesh out what we can handle and take care of as the project development continues.
