Work Examples:

Positive Notes: What went right for you and your team this week? This personal introspection should be honest and constructive.

This week we were able to meet and take the critique from our class time to redefine our scope and goals with not only the vertical slice, but also the game as a whole. Our roles were able to be set, and we all have direction on what needs to be done. Personally, I am happy with how my color theory and planning went with the main character and can’t wait to work on his character sprite and animations.

Negative Notes: What went wrong for you and your team this week? This personal introspection should be honest and constructive.

The artists had to quickly meet together to discuss who was working on what, and I felt that I could’ve done a better job discussing it with the rest of the artists as the art/creative lead. The conversation we had however was very fruitful and helped ease some tension or stress that could have developed later if this wasn’t discussed earlier.

Upcoming Notes: What are you working on next?

For me, I want to work on creating the main character sprite of Mace, so the coders and programmers on the team have an asset that can be implemented for their testing. I also want to work on concept art for the grandmother, and work on her sprite as well. I plan to assist with the animations in Unity with the programmers.
