This week I was able to make the idle sprite for Mace, and I feel that it came out relatively well. I wanted to work on sprites as soon as possible so I can keep pace with the programmers and give them assets to put on the empty objects.
Negative Notes: What went wrong for you and your team this week? This personal introspection should be honest and constructive.
Personally, I wanted to do more, I wanted to make the running animation and possibly the jumping animation but I found myself lost on time. I forgot how tasking the sprite process can be and I plan to adjust and allocate time for sprite work when I can.
Upcoming Notes: What are you working on next?
Now that Mace’s main sprite is finished, I want to work on running and jumping for the character. I will push out Grandma’s concept art and continue to work with the programmers in getting the animations and assets into Unity.
