Tasks Completed:

  • New concept for Grandma Level (2 hours)

  • Remake of Grandma Level and Basement Level (3 hours)

  • Update to the level select screen (20 min)

  • New basement level modules (now bespoke meshes with textures) (5 hours)

  • Tutorial Sprites (1 hour)

Total hours of work completed: 11 hours 20 min

Work Examples:

What went well: I got a lot of what I wanted done art and level module wise. Its a great help to have some of the level art done to see how the final game look would come together. Managed to meet to sort out some design and art uncertainties such as game flow and pixel size for the art style.

What didn't go well: I didn't get as much as I wanted to do as another class assignment pulled me away from some of the work here.

What's next: Bit of a broken record, but it’s mostly the same as last week. I'll progress the level modules creation and replacing the blockouts currently set up. I'll also create a simple dialogue system to convey the narrative we have.
