Positive: What went right for your team this week?
I was happy to finally set up the project management tool for our team. It makes it super clear what is due when and how important it is to get completed. I’m also proud to have figured out the tag and category system for the blog, so now all our posts are organized better.
Negative: What went wrong for you and your team this week?
This week was extremely tense for the team, as midterms and other classes hindered our progress toward preparing a playtestable build. It has also been challenging for Kerri since she is the only programmer on the team now, and the rest of us want to help but cannot due to our lack of coding knowledge. Our team struggled to keep to our deadlines and was working down to the wire for this week’s deliverables, which caused tension between team members.
Upcoming:
The team plans on meeting again to set stricter adherence to our deadlines and schedule, cracking down on who is responsible for certain tasks, and making sure everyone is on the same page. I plan to make the sprites for Sickle once we decide which route we want to go with animation. I also plan to make more optimizations and design changes to our website, as well as try to make a logo for our team.
