PPJ #5: Nelly


Nelly Duke PPJ #5 (August 1, 2024)

Tasks Completed:

  • Finishing Collision Scripting (2 hours)

  • Making Collision Scripting work in all scenes (2 hours)

  • Changing Collision Bounding Boxes for all scenes (4 hours)

  • Fixing Enemy attack range issues (1 hour)

  • Getting all changes properly branched and starting the merging process (2 hours)

Total number of hours: 11 hours

Positive: I really worked hard this week and completely finished the massive changes I've been working on all quarter, I am really excited for everyone to see these changes once they are all properly merged in.

Negative: My "finishing touches" were a lot more intensive than I thought. Even though the code was practically finished, moving those changes from the separate scene I was working in and adding them to all other current scenes was a huge undertaking. Also since I have been working on this for so long the published branch is quite a few commits behind main and is going to need dedicated merging.

Upcoming: I'm going to finish merging the new branch this week as a lot is going to have to be done by hand. After that I am free to do whatever the group needs of me.
