Tasks Completed:

  • Started working on a bug fix for occasional issues with the enemy getting stuck right in front of the player (2 hours)

  • Started planning out / adding health pickup enhancement (1.5 hours)

There was a lot of work done I saw for the art and planning, so I think we are in a good place to really get some major enhancement updates in the game.

Negative: What went wrong for you and your team this week? This personal introspection should be honest and constructive.

I think we could do a better job at deciding who will be handling and thinking of new features when it comes to player mechanics. As of right now we are not getting any decisions set on that so I think getting the ball rolling on that is important and having a more direct line of communication with whoever is thinking and handling the production side of these new features. I also would have liked to spend more time on my work so that I don't have things like this dragging into the next week.

Upcoming: What are you working on next?

Finishing up bug fixes and finishing up the health pickup, then implementing any new enhancement we may have.
