Tasks Completed:

  • Added new player animations (2 hours)

    • Created sister phase mechanics and play style / added enemy waves throughout corridor (6 hours)

      • Switched back to holding weapon always for future changeable weapons (1.5 hours)

      • Bug fixes (1 hour)

What went right was that we were able to get the sister boss fight mechanics and layout decided early.

Negative: What went wrong for you and your team this week? This personal introspection should be honest and constructive.

This week I think we were not completely on the same page about what was most important, I think some things may have got lost in our discussions since I was switching the attack mechanics to accommodate for switching the weapons but the attack animation was made with a weapon already so I was stuck having to stay with what I had with the amount of time I had left. I also didn't have time to put in a lot of the new sprites for the player.

Upcoming: What you are working on next?

Nailing down exactly what we want the weapon changes and player to behave like and making bug fixes. Also adding any new animations that come in and making sure that all behaves right.
