Tasks Completed:

  • Re-done Branch Texture (30 mins)

  • Fence and Stairs Model (2 hr)

  • Gravestone Model (15 min)

  • Playtesting (30 mins)

Work Examples:

Positive: I don't usually do level building and environmental stuff so it was cool to model out the whole area and fence as one object, even thought that might not have been the most optimal method of doing it. I always like making meshes that don't clip whenever possible. I think the environment looks pretty clean and has relatively low amount of polys (2.5k including the fence spikes).

Negative: I definitely fussed over the topology of the stair area a bit too much for how little its going to matter in game, but I wanted to practice making clean models even if it doesn't end up mattering too much.

Upcoming: Finishing UVs and Textures for what I made this week and then either the house or working in Arty's area.
